Shahin Ghobadi, DMD Dr. Shahin Ghobadi earned his Doctorate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004, and he served as the chief resident at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center before finishing his residency in 2008. Today, he is in private practice and provides placement of dental implants, bone grafting, sedation dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Over the course of his education and career, he has won several awards, including the Dental Implant Student Award from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Pre-Doctoral Achievement Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also received a special award in 2011 from MIS, recognizing his significant contribution to the implant dentistry field. In 2020, Dr. Ghobadi was voted one of the "Top Dentists of New Jersey". Outside of the office, Dr. Ghobadi enjoys providing dental outreach services to underserved populations in other countries and volunteering his time to aid similar noble causes.
